Several factors helped the idea of establishing an Islamic college in Ethiopia for the first time in the country's history, including:

  • A large number of students across the country are eager to learn the Arabic language and Islamic sciences.
  • There are many students who have a high school diploma but have not been able to continue their university studies abroad due to various circumstances.
  • The political thaw that has occurred in the country at the present time.
